Leading Mail-in Gold Buyer and Celebrity Spokesman and Partner MC Hammer Hold Three Toy Giveaways for Local Families in Run-Up to Christmas

Pompano Beach, Fla. – December 22, 2009 – Cash4Gold (www.cash4gold.com), the world’s #1 gold buyer direct from consumers, spread holiday cheer in the days before Christmas with three separate charity initiatives targeting families in South Florida. These efforts continued the company’s long-standing dedication to helping those in need. Three-time Grammy Award-winner and Cash4Gold spokesman MC Hammer attended each of the events alongside company executives including CEO Jeff Aronson.

Cash4Gold was a major sponsor for the Broward Sheriff’s Office 17th Annual Toys for Tots & Teens event held in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. on Saturday, December 19. After arriving on a fire truck with the sheriff to a DJ blasting his hits, MC Hammer was joined by Jeff Aronson in helping hand out gifts to the more than 1,500 children in attendance.

On Sunday, December 20th, company executives and MC Hammer paid a visit to Broward General Medical Center’s Chris Evert Children’s Hospital in Fort Lauderdale. Hammer, Aronson, Santa Claus and a group of Cash4Gold employees visited the hospitalized children to distribute the more than 300 toys donated by Cash4Gold’s local employees. In addition to individual toys, Cash4Gold provided entertainment to be used at the hospital on an ongoing basis, including video game consoles, DVD players and CD players, among other items.

In the third event, Cash4Gold, MC Hammer and Essie “Big Mama” Reed teamed up to distribute toys for hundreds of deserving kids at the Joseph C. Carter Park in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. on Monday, December 21. The event put smiles on the faces of the 400-plus children in attendance. As one local TV station showcased, the kids were excited to each receive a special holiday gift and have the chance to have their photo taken with hip hop legend MC Hammer.

“It’s extremely gratifying to see the entire Cash4Gold family pitch in and help those less fortunate during the holiday season,” said Cash4Gold CEO Jeff Aronson. “My friend MC Hammer and I enjoyed meeting thousands of local children and their parents over the last few days, and it was great to see so many smiling faces as we head into the holidays.”

During 2009, Cash4Gold continued its strong commitment to charity work both locally and on an international scale. The company has regularly supported international relief organization Feed The Children and recently helped launch their Breakfast2Live campaign in the United Kingdom. In addition, Cash4Gold worked with the Florida-based charity Stand Among Friends, the American Red Cross, and other organizations during the past year.

Cash4Gold embarked on an aggressive international expansion in 2009 even as it continued to serve the local community by keeping jobs in the U.S. The company launched its mail-in gold buying service in Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany and Spain, with additional countries to follow in 2010. More than 300 employees work at Cash4Gold’s high-security headquarters and processing facility in Pompano Beach, Fla.
