They say “money talks” and designer Martí Guixé believes that your keyboard should reflect on the outside what it means on the inside. Guixé designed the gold plated $4 key and is currently producing each key on a custom-made-to-order basis.
“Gold Key $4 is custom made for your keyboard, hence development and production will take some time.” States Guixé’s website. Guixé created the key to symbolize the stand-out presence of the dollar symbol. Though the entire key is not pure gold, its Gold-plated silver composition still holds precious value.
