Employee E-Mail to Cash4Gold CEO Jeff Aronson

Cash4Gold CEO Jeff Aronson received an incredible e-mail this week from one of his team members. The Cash4Gold employee recently returned from the U.K., where she participated in the training of on-the-ground staff members in Sheffield.

Below is a copy of the e-mail. The names of the author and her colleagues have been removed, but that is the only change made to the e-mail’s text.

Subject: Thank you guys so much!!!!!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you guys for the experience of being part of the team responsible for setting up the Cash4Gold offices in the UK. I am grateful for the chance to prove myself and to show that I can exceed people’s expectations of what my role is. I have learned a lot from the weeks that I spent in the UK and believe that the experience will enhance my performance here in the USA. I have expanded my knowledge of the company and its inner workings and I will bring this improved knowledge to my current role in the USA.

It has been a pleasure to work outside of my usual role and I believe that I have done the best job possible in training staff members in the UK. I will look forward to the possibility of a return trip to see how the UK offices are progressing.

I would like to thank L and T for standing by my side through this wonderful journey. There couldn’t have been anyone better than those two.

I enjoyed learning new things like it’s not “mail” but “post,” I’ve tasted over 300 different types of “fish & chips.” I was also able to explore the city of London. I doubt I would have ever been able to experience any of England if I wasn’t working with the best company ever…. CASH4GOLD! I can go on, but I have to get back to work :).

Yours sincerely,

M

Cash4Gold CEO Jeff Aronson Shares Insights with College Students

Cash4Gold CEO Jeff Aronson addressed dozens of business students during a speech on Wednesday night (Sept. 23) at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. Aronson was appearing as part of the College of Business and Management’s bi-annual CEO Speaker Series, which features lectures from successful entrepreneurs and leading businessmen and businesswomen.

Aronson told the students the story of how he created Cash4Gold and shared his tips for how to succeed in business. Aronson addressed how Cash4Gold has revolutionized the buying and selling of gold through the creation of the mail-in refining industry. He also spoke about how the company has harnessed the power of the internet and direct response marketing to attract customers.

Prof. Eldon H. Bernstein, Ph.D., the organizer of the event, said, “I can’t think of anybody who would be a more inspiring and interesting person to talk to an entrepreneurship class than Jeff Aronson. His enthusiasm and interest in mentoring college students is great, and provides an exceptionally valuable experience for them.”

After delivering extemporaneous remarks for roughly half an hour, Aronson opened up the floor for a wide-ranging question and answer period for the students in attendance. Many of the questions pertained to Cash4Gold’s relationships with MC Hammer and the late Ed McMahon, both of whom were featured in Cash4Gold’s highly regarded 2009 Super Bowl commercial, which featured the two stars.

This was the second appearance for Aronson at Lynn, who handed out his business card to the students at the conclusion of the event and encouraged them to apply for internships at Cash4Gold.

“Jeff engages the students, inspires questions and creates great interest,” said Prof. Bernstein. “He does a great job.”

Pompano Beach, Fla. – September 21, 2009 – Cash4Gold (www.cash4gold.com), the world’s #1 gold buyer direct from the general public, has invited the winners from the Primetime Emmy® Awards to send in their trophies for appraisal. The highly-entertaining telecast aired Sunday night from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

Each of the coveted Primetime Emmy Awards trophies is created by hand, stands 14 inches tall and weighs 4.75 pounds. The statuette is composed of a steel base covered with four layers including 24-carat gold and silver, among other non-precious metals.

If a trophy was sent to Cash4Gold’s secure processing center, the company and its team of certified appraisers could utilize state-of-the-art assaying equipment to calculate the exact percentages of the various metals contained in the Emmy trophy and to determine the statuette’s melt value. Melt value refers to the amount of actual precious metals contained in an item that a refinery such as Cash4Gold can extract and recycle, and does not account for artistic, symbolic, or historic value.

“Each year we look forward to watching the Primetime Emmy Awards broadcast to see which talented entertainers take home TV’s greatest honor,” said Cash4Gold CEO Jeff Aronson. “We congratulate this year’s Emmy Award winners and invite them to send in their trophies for appraisal. As always, television fans and other Americans are welcome to send in their broken gold and silver jewelry as well.”

Juan Martin del Potro Wins U.S. Open, Hoists $1,563 Trophy

On Monday, Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina upset five-time defending U.S. Open champion Roger Federer in an entertaining five-set match. Playing in his first career Grand Slam final, Del Potro raised the U.S. Open trophy in triumph before a packed Arthur Ashe Stadium crowd in Flushing, New York.

The U.S. Open men’s singles championship trophy is made of sterling silver and weighs 7 pounds. Based on the weight and precious metals content of the trophy, certified appraisers at Cash4Gold have estimated the melt value of the trophy to be $1,563. Hammer Time Tea Time

The citizens of the U.K. now have another reason to utilize the mail-in refining services of Cash4Gold—the chance to hang out with MC Hammer and a homegrown celebrity.

Cash4Gold today appealed for recommendations for a uniquely British personality who would be a great pairing with Hammer for a future Cash4Gold TV ad. Actually, it was MC Hammer who delivered the request via a short video that can be found on Cash4Gold’s UK website: uk.cash4gold.com.

This is the first time that Cash4Gold has solicited this kind of input from the public.

One lucky winner will be selected at random from among those who suggest the celebrity that Cash4Gold ends up using. That person will join the incomparable MC Hammer and the UK celebrity for an English treat—afternoon tea.

In a press release announcing the contest, Cash4Gold CEO Jeff Aronson said: “The late, legendary Ed McMahon brought us his experience with Carnac the Magnificent in opening envelopes, while MC Hammer taught our staff how to dance. For our expansion into the UK, we are looking to learn a new set of skills by teaming up with a well-known celebrity who will bring a smile to the faces of the UK public.”

Stay tuned…

Cash4Gold on Fox Business News

Cash4Gold was mentioned this week on Fox Business News. During one segment the commentators were discussing the soaring price of gold of late. Gold recently hit a six month high, climbing to over $1,000 an ounce while silver hit a 13-month high.

Pontificating about why the price had gone so high, one gentleman suggested that "it may be all those MC Hammer Cash4Gold commercials sending it up."

Here at Cash4Gold we don't really think that our commercials have impacted the gold price at all. And to clarify an important point, the Cash4Gold TV ad with MC Hammer appeared only during the Super Bowl broadcast and has not been in regular rotation on the airwaves.

Cash4Gold Responds to Latest Posting on Consumerist

Below is a statement that was issued today in response to the latest posting by the Consumerist website.

“On the advice of legal counsel, Cash4Gold was unable to offer specific comments to the Consumerist for this article. It would have been highly inappropriate given the pending litigation concerning Consumerist’s refusal to remove a false and defamatory posting about Cash4Gold from its website, even after the person who authored the comments requested that they be taken down.”
